<\/a>CM<\/span> Driving School<\/span> has been set up to cater for the individual needs of those who want to learn to drive and those who would like to refresh their existing skills. We offer driving lessons in Chelmsford, Braintree and surrounding areas.<\/h1>

You will be on the road as quickly and safely as possible, with all the knowledge and skills required to be a safe driver for life. CM<\/span> Driving School<\/span> has a very good reputation for being professional, reliable, punctual, patient and understanding, with a great success rate.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>

Claire Fry is the owner of CM<\/span> Driving School<\/span>. She has continued to develop her in-car coaching and individual mentoring skills since 2006. Tony (who founded CM Driving School) has been instructing since 2001 and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Warren reached Approved Driving Instructor status in 2011 and has been a valued part of the team since February 2015. Darren joined the team in March 2025, after being trained by his close friend, and his passion for coaching new drivers is infectious. All team members work together to ensure they are up to date with the latest training methods, especially for nervous and neurodiverse learners. They strive to continually improve their coaching and client-centred learning skills.<\/p>

As a responsible driving school all of our instructors are DVSA registered and DBS checked, so you know you are in safe hands.<\/p>

Claire and Darren offer automatic lessons in Chelmsford, Warren gives manual lessons in Chelmsford and Tony provides manual driving lessons in Braintree. They all cover areas within a 10 mile radius. They have a wealth of knowledge of driving instruction and a passion to ensure their students become safe confident drivers. They offer a wide range of services to new and existing drivers.<\/p>
