Here you will have an opportunity to learn the basic skills of car control in a safe off-road environment.
You will be accompanied by an Approved Driving Instructor who will initially guide you on how to move the car off and stop the car. This will lead on to how to change gears and how to negotiate junctions. There are opportunities for manoeuvres including bay parking, parallel parking and the emergency stop.
All the cars involved in the sessions are fitted with dual controls, so rest assured you will be in safe hands (and feet)!
The schemes are for under 17 year olds and you don’t need a driving licence. Should you be interested in starting your driving earlier than your 17th birthday, please contact the scheme you are interested in to secure your place.
