Thank you for choosing CM Driving School for your driver training.

Prior to your first lesson we are required check the legality of your driving licence. To do this we will need a ‘check code’. To obtain the code you will need your driving licence number and National Insurance number to hand. Follow the link below:

Once you have received the check code, please send this along with your driving licence details to your instructor. A photo of the driving licence would be great.

When sending this information to your instructor you are acknowledging that you have read and understood the following information about your personal data:

In accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Register) there is a necessity for your instructor to obtain, store and process certain confidential personal data from you. This data will be stored on a secure mobile device that is password protected and only your instructor will have sole access to it.

Our assurance to you is that your data will remain confidential and will not be shared or sold to any third party and will be deleted after you have passed your driving test or your training ceases, unless you state otherwise.

There are mobile cameras fitted to some tuition vehicles for your safety and security. The cameras face outwards with no voice recognition and footage would not be published on a public platform. It can be made available to you for training purposes upon request.

Camera footage cannot be used as evidence in the event of a test dispute with the DVSA.
